Kelly Khumalo Fumes After Being Mistaken For Late Winnie Khumalo In Live Broadcast

Talk about a messy mix-up! South African songstress Kelly Khumalo was not here for the nonsense after being mistakenly declared dead by eNCA anchor Shahan Ramkissoon during a live segment on the passing of Winnie Khumalo.

The Blunder Heard Around Mzansi

While announcing the death of legendary musician Winnie Khumalo, Ramkissoon mistakenly swapped names and referred to Kelly Khumalo instead. The blunder immediately sent shockwaves through social media, with many left wondering if it was an innocent mistake or a shady jab.

Known for never holding back, Kelly took to her Instagram account to unleash a scathing response to the error: “You may hate or even think less of me; however, this is very reckless, ignorant, and disrespectful—not only to me but to those who love and care about me, especially my kids. Put some respect on my name.”

In an attempt to calm the storm, Ramkissoon issued a swift correction and apology: “It was an honest mistake. I corrected myself and apologised.”

But the damage was already done, and Mzansi was having a field day with the drama.
