Kairo Forbes, the daughter of DJ Zinhle and the late rapper Kiernan Forbes, popularly known as AKA, has added another feather to her cap.

This young mogul recently won a Nickelodeon award at the 45th Annual Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2024. Nominated in the category of Favourite African Kidfluencer, Kairo’s win is a testament to her growing influence and star power.

At just nine years old, Kairo Forbes is already making waves in the business world. She has her own watch brand and jewellery line, making her one of South Africa’s most bankable children.

This recent award is not her first; in 2023, she was named the “Social Media Kid Influencer of the Year” at the South African Social Media Awards. Clearly, Kairo is on a trajectory to greatness.

Taking to social media, Kairo gushed about her latest accolade. She expressed gratitude to Nickelodeon for the nomination and congratulated her fellow nominees. “Thank you to my family and everyone who voted for me. I am very happy and I appreciate your support.

“I hope that I inspire other kids to have dreams and that they have family that will support their dreams. Thank you, God, for all your blessings. This one is for you, Daddy,” Kairo wrote.
