Shaka Ilembe Actor Kabelo Chalatsane Faces Arrest Over Baby Mama Abuse Allegations

Drama is brewing for Shaka Ilembe stunt actor Kabelo Chalatsane, who is facing serious allegations from his baby mama. The woman, also in the entertainment industry, has come forward with claims of emotional, verbal, and physical abuse.

The Relationship

Speaking to SurgeZirc SA the baby mama revealed that, the two have known each other for over two years through a mutual friend but only started an intimate relationship this year. Things took a turn when she revealed her pregnancy to Kabelo.

He was in Cape Town at the time and needed a place to stay, so she offered him her bedroom and obviously her chest. However, when she told him about the pregnancy, Kabelo reportedly said it was too soon.

Kabelo Chalatsane’s Response

Speaking to SurgeZirc SA, Kabelo said, “I told her I’m not ready to have a child with her or any person for now. I am also surprised at how it was possible that she knew she was pregnant two days after we had sex. Even if a woman knows her body, there’s no way one can be that accurate.”

He clarified that he wasn’t denying the pregnancy but would like a DNA test when the baby is born.

Protection Orders

The baby mama has filed a protection order against Kabelo, claiming he pushed her on November 2nd, which could have harmed her unborn child. The Cape Town Magistrates Court issued the protection order on November 4th. SurgeZirc SA is in possession of the protection order and violent messages both parties sent to each other.

She has also revealed that the actor has been threatening to take the baby from her “There’s no way I would give my child away. He can’t intimidate me into terminating nor can he intimidate me into taking my child away from me.”

Kabelo, on the other hand, has also filed for a protection order against the baby mama, accusing her of harassment and verbal abuse, including swearing at him and his late mother.

He revealed he was at Table View Police Station while he was speaking to SurgeZirc SA, “She just wants to tarnish my name. I am tired of dealing with this lady. She is even stalking my younger sister on Instagram, violating her protection order every minute she gets.”

Social Media Drama

The baby mama clarified that she contacted some social media bloggers, and her story ended on X (former Twitter), slandering her baby daddy’s name. Kabelo is set to appear in court on November 26, 2024, for harassment and abuse allegations.

According to the lady, she fears for her safety, as she still lives in fear even with the protection order. “I want to feel safe and protected. Every woman must fight for themself and their children.”
