Justice Community Mourns Death Of Former Gauteng Deputy DPP Riegal du Toit

The justice sector is in mourning following the death of Advocate Riegal du Toit, a former Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions in the Gauteng Local Division.
Justice Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi confirmed the passing and conveyed her deep sorrow at the loss of a senior legal figure who played a key role within the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA).
Advocate du Toit is remembered for his dedication to public service and his longstanding contribution to the administration of justice in South Africa.

In her statement, the Minister offered her “heartfelt condolences” to du Toit’s family, friends and colleagues, as well as to members of the prosecutorial fraternity who worked alongside him.
