Human Organs Found In Pretoria Traditional Healer’s Practice Room

A 26-year-old Mozambican traditional healer has appeared in the Ga-Rankuwa Magistrate’s Court after police allegedly found human organs in his practice room.

The suspect, identified as Aizeque Zacaria Cumbuia, was arrested following a murder investigation in Brits, where a woman was killed, dismembered, and her body burnt.

Human Organs Discovered

Police linked the gruesome discovery to Cumbuia’s practice, where human tissue was reportedly recovered.

During Friday’s court proceedings, the State announced its intention to oppose bail, warning that Cumbuia’s release could endanger the community and compromise ongoing investigations.

The case has been postponed to Monday, 28 August 2025, for a formal bail application.
