Haibo! Lerato Kganyago’s ‘Gifted’ Hotel Goes Missing After Commission Name Drop

Guys, do you remember when Lerato Kganyago was gifted that entire hotel for Valentine’s Day? The romantic grand gesture that had every girl in Mzansi questioning her relationship?
Well, fast forward to 2025 — and that same hotel has mysteriously vanished from the internet just days after being mentioned at the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry.

The boutique hotel in question, 12 On Hillel Villa and Spa, which was reportedly gifted to Lerato by her husband Thami Ndlala back in 2022, has allegedly pulled a disappearing act online — and the timing has tongues wagging.
The sudden digital blackout came just hours after the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry mentioned the hotel during explosive testimony on Monday, 20 October 2025.
According to an anonymous witness, an alleged party hosted by a police officer named Vusi Ndlala (yes, another Ndlala) was held at the same hotel — reportedly attended by some very important people in blue.
Then boom — the website vanished very fast.
“From 12 On Hillel to 404 Error”
Mzansi didn’t waste a second before turning into full-time investigators, and X (Twitter) detectives quickly noticed that the hotel’s official website had been deactivated.
User @Madumetja__M08 broke the news: “All of a sudden, after being mentioned at the #MadlangaCommission, their website has been deleted LOL.”

Another added: “Ain’t nothing ever really deleted from the internet — unless it’s starring in a K-drama.”
And of course, the comments section went up in flames:
- @StoneMokone: “Nothing sinister. Maybe they just ran away from bad reviews.”
- @KaraboKbmags: “They can delete the site, but the screenshots live forever, babes.”
- @SAPresidentZA: “Lol, we’re here with the police enjoying ourselves. Try again tomorrow morning.”
- @Thubelihle12001: “Where there’s smoke, there’s definitely a fire… and probably Wi-Fi.”
Lerato Distances Herself: “It’s My Husband’s Baby”
When questioned about the property in a 2023 TimesLive interview, Lerato was clear about one thing — the hotel was her husband’s.
“It belongs to my husband, and I support my husband because whatever is his, I embrace it,” she said at the time.
But with Mzansi watching every digital move, people are wondering — if she’s truly uninvolved, why does it all go poof the moment her name is mentioned?
