Grammarly Rebrands As Superhuman And Launches AI Assistant ‘Superhuman Go’

Grammarly, the popular writing assistant, is taking a bold step in its evolution. Following its acquisition of email client Superhuman in July, the company is rebranding itself as Superhuman.
Despite the new corporate identity, Grammarly as a product will retain its familiar name. The company has indicated that other acquired products, like productivity platform Coda, could potentially see rebranding in the future.
Alongside the rebrand, Superhuman is introducing an AI assistant called Superhuman Go, integrated directly into the Grammarly extension. The assistant offers writing suggestions, email feedback, and can connect with apps such as Jira, Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Calendar for added context.
Superhuman Go Enhances Productivity with AI and App Integrations
By leveraging these app connections, Superhuman Go can perform tasks such as logging tickets or checking availability for meetings. The company has plans to expand the assistant’s capabilities, enabling it to pull information from CRMs and internal systems to suggest changes in emails.
Users can access Superhuman Go by toggling it on within the Grammarly extension. The platform also features an agent store, where users can try different AI tools, including a plagiarism checker and proofreader introduced in August.

All Grammarly users can currently try Superhuman Go, with premium options available. The Pro plan costs $12 per month (billed annually) and includes grammar and tone support in multiple languages. The Business plan is priced at $33 per month (billed annually) and includes access to Superhuman Mail.
Superhuman plans to expand AI-powered features across its platforms, including the Coda document suite and email clients. These updates will allow the assistant to automatically pull details from various sources to enrich documents and email drafts.
With these moves, Superhuman is positioning itself to compete with productivity platforms like Notion, ClickUp, and Google Workspace, all of which have integrated AI tools in recent years.
