The young boy passed away on Monday, 20 October 2025, following a brief illness that left the family reeling.

The Izindlela Zakhe hitmaker confirmed the devastating news in a deeply emotional statement posted to his social media accounts on Tuesday, expressing gratitude for the love and support that has poured in.
“Ziphozenkosi was a light in the lives of those who knew him, a gentle soul whose warmth, laughter and kindness touched everyone he met,” the statement read. “Your compassion brings comfort and strength as we navigate this season of grief.”
