A Bold Apology

In a recent episode of her podcast, The Venting Podcast, Gogo Skhotheni opened up about the whole mess. She admitted that she was wrong for insulting Maweni. Can we just take a moment to appreciate the courage it takes to own up like that?

She said, “I shouldn’t have reacted to anything that she said. What she said about me was her own opinion.”

She admitted to making negative comments about Maweni’s appearance and shared how it didn’t reflect who she truly is. “What I didn’t like was inflicting pain on her looks. She didn’t choose to be that way, and I shouldn’t have done that,” she expressed.

Gogo Skhotheni Issues Message Of Forgiveness

Skhotheni even went as far as to say she forgives Maweni, no matter the heat that was thrown around. “I forgive her even if she feels I don’t deserve her to say sorry to me,” she expressed.

She also mentioned something huge — if Maweni played any part in the passing of her son, she’s ready to forgive that too! “God forgives her, and I forgive her. My child is no longer alive, and I wish her the best in all her endeavours,” she said.
