Gauteng Man Hires Hitman To Kill Ex-Girlfriend And Mother, Voice Note Reveals Disturbing Plot | LISTEN

A KwaZulu-Natal mother has reached out to Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) for urgent assistance after discovering that her daughter’s ex-boyfriend allegedly hired a hitman to kill her.

The victim, a 28-year-old woman, ended her relationship with her partner in May 2025 following reports of abuse. She left their shared home in Chatsworth, KwaZulu-Natal, and moved in with her family at a location that remains undisclosed for safety reasons.

Her ex-boyfriend, also 28, who works in the electrical field, later relocated to Johannesburg, Gauteng. According to the victim’s mother, he threatened to shoot her family for intervening in their domestic disputes.

Protection Order Granted But Suspect Still Missing

Following the threats, a criminal case was opened with the South African Police Service (SAPS), and the local Magistrate’s Court granted a protection order. However, despite several attempts, law enforcement has been unable to locate the suspect to serve the order.

A detective investigating the intimidation case reportedly spoke to the man over the phone but was also threatened. The suspect has managed to evade police for months, with RUSA withholding his name and images pending further instructions from law enforcement authorities.

Hitman threatens

The victim and her mother revealed that they have continued to receive threatening calls and messages from multiple unknown numbers, even in the early hours of the morning. Although they blocked the numbers, new ones were used to send messages and voice notes.

In one chilling voice note, the ex-boyfriend allegedly recorded a conversation with a hitman willing to kill the woman. The victim has also reported being stalked at her workplace, outside her home, and in other locations.

Four months since the protection order was issued, the suspect remains at large. The victim is now living in constant fear for her life as investigations continue.
