BREAKING! Gagasi FM Suspends Felix Hlophe After Shocking Abuse Allegations Rock Mzansi

Mzansi, the pressure worked. Gagasi FM has officially suspended popular breakfast host and comedian Felix Hlophe, following explosive domestic abuse allegations that sent social media into overdrive during the Christmas and Boxing day.
On Friday, 26 December 2025, SurgeZirc SA first reported that Felix Hlophe was facing serious allegations of domestic violence stemming from a dramatic Christmas Eve incident involving his first wife, Tracy. What should’ve been a calm festive night allegedly spiralled into chaos — with police, neighbours, and children caught in the middle.
Felix Hlophe Domestic Abuse Allegations: What Allegedly Happened That Night
According to videos circulating online, the situation reportedly escalated after an argument between Felix and Tracy turned aggressive. Sources claim Tracy fled the home with their children and sought refuge at neighbouring houses out of fear.
Neighbours allegedly called the police after Felix was seen repeatedly hooting outside the home, demanding access and insisting on taking the children.
In one widely shared clip, a woman believed to be Tracy is heard calmly telling police officers that she would allow Felix to take the children once he had calmed down and sobered up. Witnesses allege he refused to de-escalate.
Another emotional video making the rounds shows Tracy crying and saying:
“You said I must leave you because you have another wife. The same reason I left you, you’re throwing that in my face.”

The statement read:

Mzansi Reacts: Accountability or Damage Control?
While some see the suspension as a long-overdue step toward accountability, others believe Gagasi FM is merely doing damage control under intense public pressure.
The saga has once again reignited heated conversations around domestic abuse allegations, public figures, cancel culture, and whether media houses truly hold their stars accountable — or just pause them until the noise dies down.
So Mzansi — is this justice, or just a temporary timeout? Drop your thoughts below.
