Four Killed In Suspected Gang Hit Inside Delft Home

Four males, including a teenager, were shot and killed inside a property in Delft in the Western Cape in what police suspect to be a gang-related attack.

The incident took place on Wednesday evening at around 7:20pm in Zandkloof Street.

According to South African Police Service spokesperson Andre Traut, the victims were found inside a granny flat.

Victims Killed By Gunshot Wounds to the Head 

“The bodies of the four victims, aged 13, 28, 40, and 41, were found inside a granny flat.

“All four sustained gunshot wounds to the head in what appears to be an execution-style killing,” he said.

Preliminary information suggests that two unidentified men entered the property, opened fire without warning, and fled the scene on foot.

Police believe the motive may be linked to ongoing gang activity in the area.

Anti-Gang Unit Leads Investigation Amid Rising Violence

The Anti-Gang Unit has taken over the investigation as authorities intensify efforts to trace the suspects.

Police have called on members of the public to come forward with any information that could assist, urging them to contact Crime Stop anonymously.

The latest killings come amid ongoing violence in the area. In a recent incident, a 38-year-old woman and her 12-year-old son were shot dead during a mass shooting that also left four others injured.
