Fire Strikes Again! Rapper Musiholiq’s Home Reduced To Ashes In Umlazi

Rapper Musiholiq, born Ncazelo Mtolo, has lost his home to a fire in Umlazi, Durban. Known for his hit song “Zimbeqolo” featuring Big Zulu, Musiholiq is now facing a daunting recovery after the blaze.
According to Musiholiq, the fire likely started from plugs next to the bed where phones were charging. It quickly spread, engulfing the blankets and rising to the ceiling.
The fire spread while no one was inside the house to witness or stop it. Musiholiq’s sister, who was in an outside room with her three-month-old daughter, was unharmed but devastated.
“My mother is devastated. We’ve lost everything — my kid’s school uniform, personal documents including ID books and cards, food,” said Musiholiq. The community has rallied around the family, bringing food parcels to help them through these trying times.

Just two weeks ago, “Skeem Saam” actress Innocent Sadiki faced a similar fate when her R3 million house was reduced to ashes.
Her twin sister, Millicent Mashile, recounted the ordeal, stating that the cause of the fire remains unknown. The only saving grace was that Innocent’s husband, nanny, and children escaped unharmed after noticing smoke, which alerted them to the danger.
Musiholiq has provided his bank details for those wishing to assist his family during this difficult time. Donations can be made to NF Mtolo, Capitec account number: 1577417389.
Award-winning hip-hop star Zakwe has also taken to social media to ask his followers for support. It’s a poignant reminder of how quickly life can change and the importance of community solidarity.
