Fire Breaks Out At The Freeway Tabernacle Church In Soweto

Johannesburg Emergency Management Services (EMS) has confirmed that The Freeway Tabernacle church in Protea, Soweto, is currently on fire. Firefighting teams were immediately dispatched and are working to contain the blaze.

No Injuries Reported as Firefighters Battle Flames

According to EMS spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi, no injuries have been reported at this stage. He reassured residents that the situation is being closely managed.

“Firefighters are currently attending to a local church on fire reported in Protea South, and the cause of the fire is still an object on investigation,” said Mulaudzi.
