Well, would you look at that? Pearl Thusi has decided to quit the DJ hustle (at least for now) and grace our screens again!
After what feels like years of nothing more than questionable Instagram posts and bizarre DJ (let’s be real, it was more of a forced side hustle), she’s back with a new film. We should probably thank our Nigerian ‘friends ooo’ for helping revive her career just in time. After all, it seems being a DJ wannabe wasn’t cutting it anymore.

She is starring in a film which will be dropping on Apple TV. This film, directed by a Nigerian filmmaker is tackling some heavy stuff—mental health and the concealed chaos behind those perfectly curated Instagram lives.
I mean, who better to dive into that than our Pearl? She’s been pretty busy, right? Between strutting around in her skimpy outfits and the DJ booth, vele nje she’s had loads of time to reflect on what ‘perfection’ really looks like.
