Gqeberha: The Empire bid a bittersweet farewell to one of its shining stars, Zikhona Sodlaka, on 10th February.
As the actress, known for her role as Bulelwa Mxenge, took her final bow, emotions ran high, leaving not only Lady Du but also countless fans in tears.

Zikhona’s portrayal of Bulelwa Mxenge had endeared her to the hearts of many. Her talent shone alongside esteemed actors like Zandile Msutwana, Thembinkosi Ngcukana, and Anele Matoti. Fans regarded her as one of the best actors on the show, making her departure all the more difficult to bear.
After the completion of the first season, Zikhona’s absence in the second season left fans puzzled. For two long months, they speculated about her departure, yearning for answers. Finally, the day arrived when Zikhona bid her final farewell, leaving a void that would be hard to fill.
