Former Our Perfect Wedding TV presenter and actress, Nomsa Buthelezi, recently shared her experiences of losing gigs in the entertainment industry. In a candid TikTok video, she revealed the challenges she faced as a lesbian in South Africa.
“They chuck me out like I am nothing,” Buthelezi expressed.
“Maybe this will make my enemies happy, but rest assured, God never rests.”

She went on to explain that there were people in the industry who had done horrible things to her, but she chose to keep quiet. “They were there to steal my knowledge, like wolves in sheepskin. I never got justice, but I continued.”
Buthelezi also shed light on the discrimination she faced because of her sexuality. “Being a lesbian in South Africa is very hard. Some gigs I lost because of my sexuality. I will not name them,” she said.
