Industry colleagues swarmed to her mentions to congratulate her on her debut reality show.
“Yes mama! I’m so proud of you! Can’t wait to see it,” wrote casting director and actress Lesedi Matsunyane. while seasoned actress Lorcia Cooper wrote, “You are such an inspiration Thando … even more success baby.”
Thabethe will make her executive producing debut with Redwood Productions, which she co-founded with her business partner and TV producer Tumelo Maimela.

Thando has been stealing the show on television with her parts in How To Ruin Christmas and Housekeepers. After the final episode of Mzansi Magic’s Housekeepers aired, she pondered on the show.
