Following the departure of fan favourite actor Nkanyiso Mchunu, Kay Sibiya stepped into the role but viewers are dissatisfied with his choice to play Nkululeko in Imbewu The Seed.

Mchunu is the fifth actor to leave the telenovela and the fourth to be replaced since the show’s inception. Viewers have compared Sibiya to Mchunu and stated that, despite his talent, he does not fit the role.
He’s appeared in a number of shows, including The Queen, The Wife, Uzalo, Generations: The Legacy, and others.

Speaking of his departure on Facebook Mchunu said, “This is me signing out… Myself and Imbewu have decided to end our working relationship. I’d like to thank the production for the opportunity and platform to showcase what I can do.”
