Last month, it was revealed that South African television stars Connie Ferguson and Rapulana Seiphemo would be returning to Generations: The Legacy, the show that made them SA’s most-loved television team.
Connie departed Generations for The Queen in 2016, and Rapulana quit the drama in 2020.
“Generations: The Legacy is proud to welcome two beloved guest performers in April. Viewers will no doubt be delighted by the appearance of Karabo Moroka (played by Connie Ferguson) and Tau Mogale (Rapulana Seiphemo) who will grace our screens once more in their historic roles”, read a statement from the SABC.
Connie made her long-awaited comeback this week for Mazwi’s funeral, something long-time viewers had been anticipating.
Mazwi was murdered by Abby while trying to offer money from his kidnapped cousin, Paul Moroka (Rebaone Kgosimore).

SurgeZirc SA reported that Musa Ngema who played the role of Mazwi was supposedly sacked from the SABC 1 soapie for being dramatic. According to sources, Ngema, who plays Mazwi Moroka on the show, was fired due to strained relationships with other cast members and crew members.
But for now, let’s look at Karabo’s return below:
