Ditebogo Ledwaba recently took to social media to speak out about her character on Generations The Legacy. Ditebogo plays the role of Mbali an orphan who lost her parents and recently bonded with Lucy whilst she was staying with her and Mrekza.

“Poor Mbali,As much as I try to convince myself that this is not real it is!!!!!!! I remember watching a video on @thuso.mbedu ‘s IGTV a few days before having to shoot these scenes! I CRIED! I cried on the morning of the shoot! I cried this morning! I remember I was anxious because I wanted to deliver an authentic performance,” (SIC).
“THIS IS REAL we need to talk about this! Young girls are being sold to old men it’s happening guys! For those who are complaining about this content being shown on TV well unfortunately this is happening and not “showing it” doesn’t make it “unreal”.
“THIS BREAKS MY HEART, Let’s talk about this, Goodness I literally cry all the time thinking about all that is currently happening in our country!!!,”she wrote.

Ditebogo is originally from Pretoria, and she is also one of the newest additions to the YOTV family on SABC 1, we’re excited to see more of her talent on our screens.
