The Soweto Theatre will be paying tribute to the late, great Mam’ Connie Chiume this September.
Mam’ Connie, a legendary actress who left an indelible mark on South Africa’s arts and culture scene, sadly passed away on Tuesday, 06 August after a period of illness at Garden City Hospital in Johannesburg. She had just celebrated her 72nd birthday in June before her passing.
