Social media has been buzzing with different views on the absence of Nothile, daughter of the late Sfiso Ncwane, at his recent tombstone unveiling ceremony.

Nothile, known for her reserved nature and discomfort in front of the camera, has found herself in the spotlight due to her famous parents.

Many were first introduced to Nothile on the first episode of “The Real Housewives of Durban” Season I, where her mother Nonku Williams dropped a bombshell by revealing that she has a child with Sfiso Ncwane.

At the time, Sfiso’s widow, Ayanda Ncwane, was also a cast member on the show, setting the stage for potential conflicts between the two women.

During the season, Ayanda and Nonku, accompanied by their respective children, visited Sfiso’s grave together.

However, tensions reached a boiling point at the “Real Housewives of Durban” reunion, when Nonku shared that her father, Mr Williams, wanted Ayanda to pay damages for Nothile as she is Sfiso’s daughter. This emotional revelation led Ayanda to storm out of the reunion, followed by her supportive brother Phupho Gumede.

Following the reunion, Nonku faced significant backlash on social media, prompting her to close the comment section on her Instagram account. Ayanda did not return for the second season of the show, while Nonku continued to participate in subsequent seasons.

Over the weekend, Ayanda, along with close family and friends, held the tombstone unveiling ceremony for Sfiso. The dress code for the occasion was white, and Ayanda shared pictures on social media. However, many noticed the absence of Nothile and criticized Ayanda for not including her in such an important event.

On one side of the debate, some argue that Ayanda doesn’t owe anything to Nothile, especially since Sfiso was not present in her life while he was alive.

One social media user, @grxzzlyb, commented, “I’m sure Nothile would have loved to be here for this moment, but Nonku and her mother ruined it all when they pulled that stunt on Ayanda Ncwane at the reunion.”
