So, it’s official: Itumeleng Bokaba, the former Rhythm City sensation, is dropping the hammer on Nota Baloyi!
The self-professed music executive with more controversies than a reality show has reportedly found himself in a bit of a Diddy/R Kelly kinda situation as Itumeleng has opened a rape case against him. The tea is hot, my friends!

The Power of Prayer?
Baloyi recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to ask for prayers and sympathy – which definitely had more questions than answers. Before this, we all didn’t know the bombshell that was coming our way.
Then, in classic Musa Khawula fashion, the controversial celebrity critic went and dropped a bombshell revealing the serious allegations.
According to reports, on September 5, 2024, things reportedly went very wrong at Baloyi’s home. I mean, don’t you just hate it when things get messy? Bokaba reportedly claims Baloyi forced himself on her.

What’s Nota Saying?
Well, he’s trying to dodgeball, Nota didn’t really tackle the allegations head-on. Instead, after Khawula’s surprising revelations, he went back on social media to issue a vague apology to his fans while stressing his innocence.
He even made sure to remind everyone about Itumeleng’s mental state. Such concern— you’d think he was not dealing with serious allegations.
Just an hour and 35 minutes after the allegations came to light, he posted, “To everyone who knows and loves me, I’m sorry to have to put you through this, and I appreciate the support you’ve given me in proving my innocence.
“Given the seriousness of the allegations against me, I implore you not to do or say anything that’ll imperil the mental state of my accuser!”

Yawn! Yeyi Nota ndoda, how about you try a little honesty instead of vague pleas for sympathy? Twitter experts chimed in with their hot takes: @renei_nay wondered if this explains his suspicious deleted tweets, while @s_phola__ said it’s a twist no one saw coming!

Itumeleng Reacts
And just when you thought this story couldn’t get any more unpleasant, it turns out that Bokaba wasn’t keen on going public with this storyline. She took to Instagram, confirming she opened the case but lamenting that it wasn’t meant to see the light of day this way.
