The courtroom is buzzing with intrigue as media personality Pabi Moloi finds herself entangled in a legal web spun by her baby daddy, Ruan Adams.
The plot thickens as Adams points a finger at his own lawyer, alleging that she’s been dipping into the murky waters of bribery.
Ruan Adams, has allegedly accused his lawyer of accepting a bribe from either Moloi or her legal team to delay their divorce proceedings. The couple’s case is currently being heard in the Joburg High Court.
Adams, who reportedly demanded half of Moloi’s lucrative estate and a monthly spousal maintenance of R8,500, reportedly confided in his lawyer, Lutendo Siphuma of SL Attorneys, about the alleged bribe. He also argues that he paid R25 000 in lobola for Pabi Moloi and as a result is entitled to an equal share.
Moloi’s estate includes properties in Fourways, Midrand, Elton Hill, and Edenburg.
While the details of the alleged bribe are yet to be revealed, the accusation has added a new twist to the already contentious divorce case. Moloi, a well-known media personality and former YFM presenter, has not publicly commented on the matter.
