It seems that our favourite Mzansi celebrities have become quite obsessed with their online presence. First, Naakmusiq had to set the record straight about his date of birth on his birthday. And now, Shimza is seeking help to correct some erroneous information on his Wikipedia page.
According to the page, Shimza was born in Eswatini in 1984 and raised in Tembisa, Ekurhuleni. But the DJ and producer took to Twitter to express his confusion, saying, “Can someone please help me change my Google information? I don’t know how I am born in Eswatini in 1984.”

While Shimza may have been genuinely concerned about the mix-up, his fans couldn’t help but see the humour in the situation. They jokingly suggested that he might get deported back to Eswatini or questioned his true South African identity.
One fan, @modice09, playfully commented, “You are 40 years old, Shimy Ntwana, case closed. We are tired of football age.” Another fan, @kagisure1, added, “Be happy you are still alive, ninja. That’s what matters in this era. Or show us your ID here, and we will take the matter further.”
And @s_mahwai had a simple response, stating, “If Google says you were born in 1984 in Eswatini, then you were born there.”
