
According to a report, one of the great talent hunts shows on our screens, “Idol SA,” has been cancelled after 21 amazing years of hosting and fishing out hidden talents and bringing them to light.
On Twitter, Phil Mphela, an entertainment commentator, announced the latest news about the show.

The show has repeatedly seen Somizi Mhlongo, JR Bogopa, Thembi Seete as the panel of judges while ProVerb serves as the host.
The Twitter user claims that the show has been renewed for a 19th season, which will air this year, but that it will be the last.
Sharing a photo of the show on his Twitter account, he captioned it, “After 21 years, #IdolsSA will be bowing out of our screens. The show has been renewed for a 19th season, which will be the show’s final season.”

However, there have been several calls to discontinue the reality show for different reasons, but it appears the producers have finally found reasons good enough to drop it.
