Famous polygamist Musa Mseleku has dismissed reports of him taking actress Ntokozo “Goldivah” Mzulwini as his fifth wife. Speaking to reporters, Mseleku clarified that the viral pictures of him and the actress were part of promoting his reality show, Uthando Nes’thembu.
Mseleku explained, “Mzansi Magic has always promoted their shows creatively. They saw the story of wife number five as a big story. So when the channel approached us to do this promo, we saw an opportunity to revive our story by agreeing to shoot it.
“I have no intentions of taking Ntokozo Mzulwini as a wife, and I feel sorry for her for what she went through on social media. However, it has made me realize what my future fifth wife will go through.”

Musa Mseleku expressed his surprise at the women who are now expressing interest in becoming his sixth wife. He said, “That should tell you that not all women are entirely against polygamy.
“At the end of the day, it depends on Indlovukazi Mamkhulu Macele whether we will take wife number five or six.”
Previously, Mseleku admitted that he was struggling to convince his current wives about taking up another wife. He stated, “I’m asking my wives to allow me to take a fifth wife. It’s no longer a question to me.
“I’m just waiting for them to say yes or no. And I’m doing it the modern way. If it was before, I’d be telling them that I’m taking.”
He emphasized the importance of treating all his wives equally, saying, “The way it’s supposed to be done is for me to engage with the first wife and tell her I intend to take a fifth wife, and she would communicate with the other wives.
“But in modern times, it does not work that way because all the wives have to be treated equally.”
Mseleku is carrying out a vision he had for his life since a young age – to have a big family. He refers to his polygamous lifestyle as an “institution” that has grown over the years. Despite not having a clear example to follow while growing up, Mseleku remains confident in his ability to succeed.
He shared, “When I started, I thought I was going to fail, but now I think I can stand on top of the mountain and say, ‘yes, I’ve made it.’
“It’s been over 20 years… any vision at any point gets to be reaffirmed whether it’s still following its intended original form or not. This is the first time in my life where something we all identify as a family, we cannot fix it.”
Mseleku’s journey as a polygamist continues to attract attention and spark discussions about the dynamics of polygamous relationships. While some may criticize his lifestyle, others find inspiration in his ability to navigate the challenges that come with multiple marriages.
