The drama of Mpumelelo Mseleku is a thing of the past. Cheers to new beginnings! On Saturday, Vuyokazi welcomed the uncle of her international boyfriend, Chef Sabelo Xolani, as they paid lobola in KwaZulu Natal.
Although Chef Sabelo couldn’t be there physically, thanks to the marvel of modern technology, he joined the celebration via video call, brimming with excitement.
Social media went abuzz with pictures of Vuyokazi donning a traditional makoti attire. One picture particularly stood out — the reality TV star sporting an outfit with the words “Becoming Mrs. S” on her back.

In the season finale of Izingane Zes’Thembu, broadcasted on Mzansi Magic on July 28th, we witnessed the dramatic break-up between Vuyokazi and Mpumelelo, which nearly turned physical with his second girlfriend, Tirelo Kale.
Now, Vuyokazi has made it clear that she’s moved on. She later admitted that the show was toxic, expressing regret that she didn’t leave sooner.
She revealed that her decision wasn’t influenced by Mpumelelo’s desire for a virgin as his first wife, despite her being his first girlfriend. “The show was a toxic but real experience. I regret not speaking up sooner,” she revealed in an interview.
Addressing the elephant in the room, Vuyokazi added, “I healed while I was in the relationship. I had been made an idiot. Even if he would’ve changed his mind, made me the first wife, or even married me, I’d still not be happy in that marriage. I’d rather move on with my life.”
