This power couple’s journey to love has not been without its challenges. Both Paul and Humile lost their previous partners in 2020. Paul’s wife, Manzi Ellen Mashatile, tragically passed away from Covid-19, while Humile’s late husband, Songezo Mjongile, lost his battle with colon cancer just three months later.
Interestingly, Paul and Songezo were not only colleagues but also close friends within the African National Congress (ANC). Paul even delivered a heartfelt eulogy at Songezo’s funeral. It’s unclear exactly when Paul and Humile began dating, but reports suggest that they attended a wedding together in 2022.
