Makhadzi has been chosen as the Equal Africa Ambassador for the month of September by Spotify.
On Friday, September 1st, she published her new album offering “Mbofholowo,” an album she called “music of freedom,” an album she issued as an independent artist.

The programme aims to promote and magnify the voices of African female musicians who are breaking down barriers and making waves in music, exposing their catalogue to a global audience, according to Spotify.
Tyla, Elaine, and Khanyisa have been prominent artists in recent months.
She turned to Instagram to share the wonderful news with her admirers, thanking God for the honour.
“The key is to believe in yourself and wait for your time. If you believe in your talent, then you need to trust and believe in God’s time, we know His time is always the best.”
