Sho Madjozi is maturing as a person as well as a musician. The famous rapper has maintained her relevance in the rap scene mostly by maintaining her uniqueness with a fully-fledged Tsonga culture.
On her 31st birthday, the John Cena hitmaker reminisced on how special she has grown from a young girl to the mature woman she is now.
Sho Madjozi took to Instagram to post photographs of her youth as she reflected on her road to becoming a celebrity.
Sho Madjozi wrote, “I was trying to Google how stars are born and of course, all the results were about astronomical stars and how they are born from collapsing clouds of gas and dust and a great many interactions of small and enormous particles fusing in ridiculous heat.
“And if you think of the millions of tiny and large events that collided to make it so that I was born who I was, where I was, when I was, you can see that I had no choice but to become a star. Happy birthday to me.”
Last year, the BET Award-winning rapper celebrated her birthday in her home village of Limpopo. The Huku chanter held a star-studded concert, which included Makhadzi and Muney.
This year, it’s unclear if Sho Madjozi will celebrate her 31st birthday with her fans or with family and close friends.
In terms of music, Sho Madjozi released the Chale music video, which is presently approaching 1 million YouTube views three months after its debut.
