Multi-award-winning television personality Katlego Maboe has been tapped to host the South African spinoff of ‘Deal or no Deal’.
Katlego Maboe, a TV personality in South Africa, will host Deal or No Deal, a global game show format made popular by Canadian comedian Howie Mandel.

The programme, which has been shown in over 50 countries, will now air every day at 7.30 p.m. on SABC1. On weekdays at 5.30 p.m., a replay will be carried on SABC 3.
According to the SABC, the game show would feature distinctive South African ideas. Every day, a participant has the opportunity to earn up to R250,000.
The internationally popular game show Deal or No Deal will be available on the SABC beginning in March 2023.
The Head of local programming for the SABC, Lala Tuku, said “We are delighted to offer this exhilarating, upbeat show to our audiences.
“While we will be using the winning format that has seen ‘Deal or No Deal’ become a global broadcasting phenomenon, the show will feature new innovations and be distinctively South African.”
