Bongi Ntuli, the striker of AmaZulu Football Club, and CEO Sinenjabulo Zungu are inching closer to their official union as Mr. and Mrs. Ntuli.
Recently, they celebrated the final stage of their traditional ceremony at Ntuli’s ancestral home in KwaXimba village, situated outside Pietermaritzburg in KwaZulu Natal.
During the weekend, Bongi Ntuli’s family joyously embraced their new makoti (daughter-in-law) in a traditional Umbondo ceremony.
Umbondo is a Zulu custom exclusively attended by women, where the makoti’s father is traditionally absent.
Accompanied by other female relatives, she presented food and blankets as gifts to the groom’s mother and the wider community.
Despite the AmaZulu Football Club being in town for pre-season, Bongi Ntuli extended an invitation solely to his teammate Dumisani Zuma, demonstrating their close bond.
According to a reliable news source, it has been revealed that Nozipho Magubane, the wife of AmaZulu boss Sandile Zungu, graced the occasion despite recently giving birth to their baby.
However, she had to depart early in order to commemorate their first-year wedding anniversary with a special dinner alongside her husband.
A source present at the event disclosed this information to the news outlet, emphasizing that Sandile was pleased that his wife could attend and represent their family.

The source further stated that while Sandile couldn’t personally be present, he expressed his contentment with his wife’s presence.
When approached for a comment, the couple declined, stating, “We prefer to keep our personal lives private and not discuss them in the media.”
As reported by a reputable news source, the couple’s white wedding has been scheduled for September.
