But this surprise gift wasn’t the only thing that Naledi received from Chris Brown. It turns out that he also paid her over R50 000 for sampling her song on his latest album, 11:11. Talk about a double whammy!
In an interview with reporters, the 17-year-old sensation shared the story behind the viral video that caught Chris Brown’s attention.
“I was in my classroom during examinations, and we were all bored. We decided to sing, and to our surprise, our class teacher actually encouraged us to continue. He even recorded a clip on his phone,” Naledi explained.
