OUCH! Enhle Mbali Drops Cryptic IG Bombs After Black Coffee’s ConCourt Comments

South African actress and TV presenter Enhle Mbali has the internet talking again — and this time, fans are convinced her message is aimed straight at her ex-husband, Black Coffee.

Just days after the Grammy-winning DJ weighed in on the landmark Constitutional Court ruling around antenuptial contracts and customary marriages, Enhle took to Instagram with posts many believe were anything but random. And whew… the timing? Immaculate. The tone? Painful. The subtext? Loud.

On Sunday, 25 January 2026, Enhle reshared a gripping clip from Euphoria (Season 2, Episode 5), showing Zendaya’s character Rue in a tense exchange with her on-screen mother.

The caption did not hold back:
“When the person who created your trauma complains about your pain.”

Fans instantly connected the dots, with many reading the post as a thinly veiled response to Black Coffee’s recent legal commentary.

If that wasn’t enough, Enhle followed it up with another story — a symbolic video of a man offering water to a snake, only to be bitten moments later. The quote attached read:
“Some souls know nothing but betrayal. No matter how much kindness they receive.”

Black Coffee Responds To Constitutional Court Ruling On Customary Marriage

The cryptic posts surfaced shortly after Black Coffee, born Nkosinathi Maphumulo, publicly commented on a viral Instagram video reacting to the Constitutional Court ruling on antenuptial agreements signed after customary marriages.

In his now-viral comment under a post shared by podcaster Penuel Mlotshwa, the global DJ insisted the ruling had no bearing on his ongoing appeal.

Black Coffee explained that his Supreme Court of Appeal (SCA) application challenges the High Court’s decision that recognised his 2011 traditional Zulu wedding to Enhle Mbali as a valid customary marriage. That ruling also invalidated their later antenuptial contracts signed in 2017 and 2019.

According to Black Coffee, there was no intention from either party to enter into a customary marriage. He further claimed their prenup explicitly stated they were unmarried at the time.

As expected, his explanation split opinion right down the middle. Some applauded his transparency, while others accused him of rewriting history.

Now, with Enhle’s emotionally loaded posts circulating online, fans are asking the same question: Was this a coincidence — or a calculated clapback?
