Last Contact With the Empangeni Man Before Disappearance
According to his family, Mbona arrived in Verulam safely and contacted them to confirm that he was actively looking for work.
The final call from him came on 19 August 2025, during which he explained that he was still unemployed and staying with another man. Unfortunately, his family has no information about this individual.

Since that day, all attempts to reach him have failed. His unexplained disappearance has left his loved ones increasingly concerned for his safety.
