Edwin Sodi Expands Nightlife Empire To Cape Town

Guys, have you heard about Edwin Sodi? The infamous businessman and socialite who’s always in the headlines, rumoured to have a hitlist of female celebs he’s been with, including Thuli Phongola, Mihlali Ndamase, Kefilwe Mabote, Lizelle Tabane, Kat Ncala, Minnie Dlamini, Onalerona Thekiso, DJ Sbu’s ex-wife Disebo Makatsa and Karen Zulu.

Edwin Sodi is taking his nightclub game to the next level. Last year, he snagged a stake in LIV Sandton (formerly known as Taboo), a celeb hotspot in Sandton, after some legal drama with his partners.

Now it has been revealed that he’s opening another LIV hotspot on Bree Street in Cape Town on November 29. Sodi is the majority shareholder and the who’s who of the entertainment industry are expected to show up for the grand opening.

A source close to the action said, “He owns the place now. It’s a done deal. He’s been finalising everything this month. The idea came about earlier this year, and he’s thrilled with his latest project.

Another insider added, “For the last three months, he’s been dropping hints, but no one could figure it out. Cape Town nightlife will never be the same again. Edwin knows this business inside out. The Sandton LIV is a hit, and there’s no doubt the Cape Town one will be too. We’re going to party hard this summer. My bags are packed for the launch.”

Iyoh, this means things are about to go down in Cape Town. Can you imagine how our female celebs will be flocking there, hoping to secure their next bag? Hmmm. Despite all the buzz, Sodi has kept mum about the new club. But one thing’s for sure: Cape Town’s nightlife is about to get a serious upgrade!
