Edwin Sodi Faces Possible Auction Of Dainfern Home Over Unpaid Levies

Controversial businessman Edwin Sodi is facing possible loss of his upmarket Dainfern property after failing to settle outstanding estate levies.

According to reports, the body corporate of Borgo de Felice estate has approached the Johannesburg High Court, seeking an order compelling Sodi’s company, Blackhead Consulting, to pay arrears amounting to R345,483.

The total could rise to approximately R480,000 once interest and legal costs are included.

Body Corporate Seeks Auction of Edwin Sodi Property

A trustee representing the estate’s body corporate indicated that the application includes a request for the property to be auctioned to recover the outstanding amount.

The trustee said legal action was taken after repeated attempts to contact Sodi were unsuccessful.

The estate has also raised concerns that the property has been unoccupied for an extended period.

According to the trustee, the house has remained vacant for more than two years.

The matter is now before the court.
