Durban Woman Killed, Man Hospitalised After Brutal Domestic Dispute In Yellowwood Park

A woman in her late forties was fatally stabbed in an alleged domestic dispute in Yellowwood Park, south of Durban, during the early hours of Saturday. The shocking incident unfolded at a flat on Finfoot Road in the Woodlands area.

Emergency services rushed to the scene shortly after midnight following multiple calls for help. ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson described the scene as deeply disturbing.

“Paramedics arrived to find police already in attendance and were escorted into the house where they found a horrific sight,” Jamieson reported.

Durban Woman Declared Dead at the Scene

According to Jamieson, it is alleged that the woman was stabbed multiple times during the domestic altercation. Despite emergency efforts, she succumbed to her injuries before she could be transported to the hospital.

“She died at the scene,” he confirmed, underscoring the severity of the attack.

Injured Man Rushed to Hospital Under Police Guard

A man, also in his forties, was found at the scene with several stab wounds. ALS advanced life support paramedics stabilised him before transporting him to a nearby hospital under police guard.

“Paramedics found a male, also in his forties, with multiple stab wounds. He was in a serious condition,” Jamieson said.

The exact details surrounding the incident remain under investigation, with police yet to confirm the nature of the relationship between the two individuals.
