Dundee Armed Robbery Leaves Four Dead, Including Teen, Police Hunt Suspects

A suspected armed robbery turned deadly in Dundee, KwaZulu-Natal, leaving four people dead—including a 14-year-old girl. The horrific incident occurred on Friday night in the Mzomusha area, where two gunmen opened fire before storming a house in search of money and drugs.
Police confirmed that two men, aged 31 and 35, were outside the home when the attackers arrived and shot them dead on the spot. The suspects then forced their way inside, where a violent confrontation unfolded.
Inside the Dundee House: Desperate Struggle and More Bloodshed
KZN police spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshiunda revealed chilling details of the crime. “It is further reported that the suspects demanded money and drugs from a 29-year-old woman,” he said.

A struggle broke out between one attacker and the woman, leading to her being shot multiple times. The assailants allegedly searched her and stole an undisclosed amount of cash before turning their gun on the teenage girl, who was also shot several times and died at the scene.
Miraculously, two others—a woman inside the house and a man who fled after hearing gunshots—escaped unharmed.

Manhunt Underway: Police Seek Answers and Suspects
Authorities believe robbery was the primary motive, though a drug-related dispute has not been ruled out. A massive search is now underway for the two suspects linked to the massacre.
Netshiunda urged the public to assist: “Police are appealing to anyone who might have information regarding the incident and the whereabouts of the suspects to contact the nearest police station or call the crime stop number 08600 10111.”
