According to the Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD), the suspect was apprehended for assault, malicious damage to property, and driving under the influence of alcohol.

Moments after his arrest, the visibly intoxicated man can be seen smashing the windows of a police van while shouting and hurling insults at officers.

The outburst drew widespread attention online, with many users expressing disbelief at the man’s reckless behaviour.
