DJ Warras Murder Case: Victor Majola Appears Alone In Court As Charges Dropped Against Second Suspect

The murder case of media personality Warrick Stock, widely known as DJ Warras, has taken a new turn after the State withdrew charges against a second suspect linked to the killing.
Two suspects — a man and a woman — were arrested earlier this week at a hostel in Soweto. However, during court proceedings, prosecutors confirmed that the case against the female suspect would not proceed, citing insufficient evidence.
DJ Warras was fatally shot outside the Zambesi House building in Johannesburg’s central business district. At the time of his death, he was contracted to enforce security at the premises.

Investigators had initially believed that three individuals were involved in the shooting, including one person described as having dreadlocks.
Despite these early leads, the State confirmed it could not continue with the case against the woman arrested alongside the remaining accused.

As a result, the prosecution is now focusing solely on the charges against the male suspect still in custody.
Victor Majola Appears in Court on Premeditated Murder Charge
On Wednesday, 44-year-old Victor Majola appeared alone in court, attempting to conceal his identity by covering his face with a scarf and the hood of his jacket.
Magistrate Simon Radasi instructed him to remove the coverings so he could be properly identified and ordered him to sit upright in the dock.
During the brief appearance, the State formally read the charges against Majola.
