DJ Warras Murder Case Delayed: Court Pushes Hearing To May Over Missing Evidence

The case involving the murder of media personality Warrick Stock, widely known as DJ Warras, has been postponed to 27 May 2026 due to incomplete investigative documentation.

The two accused, Armindo Pacula and Vincent Majola, briefly appeared before the Johannesburg Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

DJ Warras Murder Accused Face Premeditated Murder and Conspiracy Charges

Both Pacula and Majola are facing charges of premeditated murder and conspiracy to commit murder. Pacula is also charged with being in the country illegally.

Stock was fatally shot in December last year outside Zambesi House, a property in the Johannesburg CBD where he had been contracted to conduct security and auditing work.

The accused have remained in custody for the past four months after being denied bail by the court.

Outstanding Evidence Delays Progress in Investigation

State prosecutor Vincent Mochabela told the court that several key investigative elements are still incomplete.

“Financial information in respect of the accused is still outstanding, the information in respect of call data and downloading of cell phone data, and also the drafting of indictment.”

The court heard that these outstanding reports are essential for the State to proceed with the case.

As a result, the matter has been postponed to allow investigators time to finalise the required documentation.
