DJ Lady Amar has shocked fans after revealing that she hasn’t seen a single rand from her smash hit Hamba Juba — even though the song dropped two years ago and dominated charts across Mzansi.

The 32-year-old DJ, born Thando Duma, broke her silence after X user Musa Khawula posted a clip of her explaining the messy situation.

“Hai guys, I also didn’t get paid for the hit song. I don’t know even a cent. It has been two years since we released the song, and just like JL SA, I didn’t receive any payment,” Lady Amar said, adding that she only spoke out because people were dragging her online.

“Please stop insulting me. I’m also a victim. I have never received anything — me, the primary artist of the song.”
