DJ Chymamusique Undergoes Emergency Brain Surgery Linked To Car Crash Injuries

Popular South African DJ and producer Chymamusique has revealed that he recently underwent emergency brain surgery following ongoing health complications, months after surviving a devastating car accident.

The renowned hitmaker took to social media to share the emotional update with his fans, explaining that he had undergone a craniotomy, a procedure performed to access the brain and relieve pressure or remove damaged tissue.

In his heartfelt message, Chymamusique opened up about his recovery journey, saying:

“I couldn’t share my journey for the past week due to emergency brain surgery called Craniotomy. My brain, and speech and body are still disturbed so I won’t be able to take calls or really talk in person for the next 2 to 3 weeks. See you on the other side.”

The DJ also posted a photo revealing stitches on his head, giving followers a glimpse into the challenges he’s facing during this difficult period.

Linked to Earlier Car Accident That Claimed DJ Poizen’s Life

According to reports, the emergency surgery is believed to be connected to complications from a fatal car crash Chymamusique was involved in earlier this year.

The tragic accident claimed the life of fellow artist DJ Poizen, while Chymamusique was hospitalised and underwent multiple procedures for serious injuries at the time.

Since his announcement, social media has been flooded with messages of love and support from fans, fellow musicians, and industry peers wishing the DJ strength and a speedy recovery.
