Dineo Ranaka’s Past Still Haunts the Conversation

Part of the online scepticism stems from Ranaka’s painful history. Her previous marriage — a private union believed to have happened between late 2020 and early 2021 — spiralled into chaos within seven months.

She later accused her ex-husband, Pesha, of abuse and cheating, recounting a moment where he allegedly assaulted her while she held their three-month-old baby. Things got even uglier during the divorce, with property battles and claims that he disrespected her parents during arguments.

Reflecting on her decision to walk away, Ranaka once said: “Where there is no God, let no woman submit… I had to call it quits. I got moered also, and he cheated in an unforgivable way.”

Now, Dineo is outside again — smiling, soft launched, and unbothered. Mzansi? Not so much.
