Cyan Boujee Loses TikTok Account With 400K Followers After New Ban “I Should Maybe Focus On Other Stuff”

Social media darling and DJ Cyan Boujee can’t seem to catch a break. The influencer, whose real name is Honour Zuma, revealed on Instagram Stories on Friday that TikTok had removed her account without warning.

With nearly 400,000 followers gone, Cyan expressed her disappointment while hinting that this might be the moment to move on from the platform.

“I know you guys love me, and I love you guys so much too, but there are people that don’t love me, and because of that I got banned again on TikTok,” she said.

“I don’t have TikTok anymore. I was about to reach 400k followers, but the enemy won this time.”

Could This Be a Sign for a New Direction?

Known for her bold and confident online persona, Cyan suggested the suspension might be a nudge to focus on other projects.

“I guess maybe my content was too premium, and this is a sign that I should maybe focus on other stuff,” she added.

This isn’t the first time Cyan’s content has sparked controversy on TikTok. Earlier this year, her main account, which had 1.7 million followers, was permanently banned after she promoted the Alabuga Start Russian programme, a campaign that stirred online debate.

During a conversation on the L-Tido Podcast, Cyan opened up about the emotional impact of the ban.

“I lost a lot. I lost some dignity. I have a lot of anxiety. I lost my TikTok account. This is a huge learning curve for me,” she shared.

“But more than anything, I’m a victim. Even if I’m sorry for not doing my homework and not being able to represent myself properly in the situation, I still believe I’m a victim.”

She added that the backlash affected more than just her.

“It was bad for everyone, my team, my family. Everyone received backlash, not just me.”
