The home of six-year-old Joshlin Smith’s mother, Racquel “Kelly” Smith, was reduced to ashes after she was convicted for her involvement in the kidnapping and trafficking of her own daughter.
Smith was convicted alongside her boyfriend Jacques Jacquen ‘Boeta’ Appollis, and their friend Steveno ‘Steffie’ van Rhyn.

Western Cape Police Commissioner, General Thembisile Patekile, assured that the search has not stopped.
He stated that, the police will continue to search for the young girl.
The matter has been postponed to May 9, 2025, for sentencing.
