The Carte Blanche presenter surprised fans when she revealed stunning photos from her intimate ceremony on Wednesday evening.
Dressed in a silky satin gown, a cowry shell headdress, and matching Comme des Garçons Play Converse sneakers, Claire and her husband looked effortlessly stylish as they posed on the rocks by the ocean.
Captioning her post, she wrote, “And so the adventure begins…” — a line that perfectly captured the romantic simplicity of the moment.
Friends and Colleagues Celebrate Claire Mawisa’s Big Day
Among those celebrating the special moment was Claire Mawisa’s close friend and life coach, Karen Burt, who described the day as “one of the most magical” experiences she’s ever witnessed.
“My precious angel friend – this was one of the most magical days and honours to have been part of EVER,” Burt commented on the post. “My heart is filled with so much happiness for you both – a true match made in heaven.”
Claire also gave credit to her talented team, tagging Sasha West Photography — whose work was featured in Vogue earlier this year — and Elope Cape Town, known for creating modern, curated elopements.
